DEAR RESIDENTS

I am thankful to be in Jalan Besar GRC, serving residents of Kampong Glam since 2006.

Your ideas, concerns and friendships have helped me start many initiatives. 

To improve your living environment, more than 50 estate improvement projects were completed for you in the last 5 years. I am glad to have pushed successfully for many Home Improvement Programmes, Lift Upgrading Programmes, covered walkways, 3 MRT station openings and other facility upgrades.

Thank you for the wonderful times we spent together at our regular ‘Breakfast With Love’; walks around the island and free weekly healthy exercise sessions. My work as a Mayor enabled me to start more than 50 programmes to assist and connect people in Central Singapore.

To help residents in need, we have the weekly tuition, free food and grocery, milk and diaper provisions, senior and youth centre services; and many others. In Parliament, I spoke up frequently on education, social services, disability, SMEs and issues faced by my residents.

There is more I want to do to create a better life for you., especially during these challenging times caused by the COVID-19 outbreak. Please vote for the PAP team so that I can continue to serve you.
